Adams Mens IDEA Pro Gold Hybrid/Irons Set (1747 views/week)
Designed for better players, the Idea Pro Gold Hybrid Iron set features two Pro Gold hybrids that deliver a penetrating ball flight and extra forgiveness along with six forged, tour-quality irons that deliver exceptional feel and workability. The Idea Pro Gold hybrid may also be purchased individually. Idea Pro Gold hybrid utilizes advanced geometric shaping (known as Boxer Technology), an improved maraging steel face and an enhanced weighting system. The result is a new standard in hybrids designed for elite players, combining 5% more forgiveness on off–center hits with a 10% improvement in launch conditions while retaining the look, feel and workability that has made the Idea Pro hybrid the #1 hybrid played on tour. The 5–PW forged irons appeal to better players with a thin top line and sole. An 8620 carbon steel head is finished with a mirror-chrome plating that adds a premium look to the set. The constant offset through the irons offer better control for players wanting to work their ball flight and the 14% volume increase in the face grooves result in better accuracy and feel. Idea Pro Gold Irons Set Composition: #3 Hybrid: 16° • #4 Hybrid: 18° • #5-PW (46°) Iron Back: Cavity Back Iron Face: 8620 Carbon Steel Iron Construction: Forged Hybrid Construction: Stainless Steel Shaft - Hybrids: Mitsubishi JAVLN FX Graphite • Irons: Mitsubishi JAVLN FX Graphite • Precision Rifle Project X Steel Grip: Golf Pride DD2

Was given these to try and immediately fell in love with them. Nice traditional look, great feel and fantastic workability. I would never have put Adams in the "performance iron" category, but these clubs are as good as any forged iron I have played (including Srixon, Mizuno & Wilson). I do not have the hybrids as the boxy look was not for me, so my set is 4 - GW. I would highly recommend any better player give these a test drive when getting ready to purchase a new set of irons.

A very underrated set of clubs in my opinion, i really like the way they sit on the turf and perform, they look very good also. The contact with the ball is crisp and solid, trajectory is medium with a penetrating ball flight, they are forgiving to a certain point. To go with the set i also purchased the gap wedge (50/08) and the sand wedge (55/10) which by the way performs very well in the bunkers. The hybrids are also solid, ball just flies off the face.
