Grafalloy Pro Launch Red (33719 views/week)

Developed for players seeking a flatter, penetrating trajectory, ProLaunch Red combines the launch monitor tuned performance of ProLaunch technology with key performance attributes from the original ProLite 35, the most popular ultralite shaft of all-time. The shaft incorporates Grafalloy’s proprietary Micro-Mesh™ tip technology to strike the perfect balance of tip stiffness, stability and spin control while preserving critical feel for valuable feedback.

Low ball flight counterpart to the original ProLaunch

The ultimate combination of power and tour-caliber trajectory built upon the unequalled performance benefits of ProLite 35 — the winningest graphite shaft of all time!

Proprietary Micro-Mesh™ tip technology provides lower torque for greater stability while offering superior feel at impact compared to other low trajectory, tip-stiff composite shaft designs.

Matt Review

I have been hitting a lot of clubs trying to find one that would work the way i wanted it to when i wanted it to and i think i hit about every manufacturer out there. I talk to a fitting specialist and after looking at my swing speed he suggested a lower torque shaft with a higher kick and tip stiff instead of a new driver. Boy was he right. My speed is 117-120 and we decided i should go x flex on the shaft. i put this shaft in my cleveland launcher 400 and have to say its the best $70 i have spent on golf. It took my launch angle from around 14 degrees down to around 10 degrees which means im not gonna be plugging fairways all day. carry was about the same between 300 and 310 not a lot of gain but flight is much lower and boring with no "balloon" at the end. spin rates were way lower and workability is outstanding. I am very pleased with results for the money.

on a side note do not go x stiff if your swing speeds are down to less than 110 as it is not gonna work all that well. cant wait for the season to start here so i can get out.

Eric Review

Purchased an Adams BTY 14.5 (nice club) with Prolaunch Red Regular flex. I consider myself to be between a regular and stiff flex...the Prolaunch Red R flex plays perfectly for me. Very nice kick and stable...does not feel wippy to me like others (ego trip?) have commented. I play a Fujikura Vista Pro 70 stiff flex in a Ping 10* G2 driver and the Prolaunch Red R flex in the 14.5* BTY feels and plays very similar which is to say "sweet". The Prolaunch red plays a little straighter than any other fairway wood shaft I have hit period...it's a very, very nice shaft.
