Taylormade Rossa Monza Itsy Bitsy Spider Putter (14855 views/week)

The TaylorMade Itsy Bitsy Monza Spider Putter has a 20% smaller head compared to the original Spider for players who perfer a midsize putter head. A steel wireframe construction accompanies two movable weights in this contemporary, high MOI (moment of inertia) mattet design with a strong and light aluminum core.

This TaylorMade Itsy Bitsy Monza Spider's increased perimeter weighting allows for more consistent distance on off-center hits, while the Movable Weight technology permits the golfer to change the head weight for a customized feel.

R.P. JACOBS II Review

On a whim while browsing in Golf Galaxy, I picked the Itsy Bitsy up & dropped a ball @ about 10-12' & stroked it. Dead center. Amazing feel off the AGSI insert. I putted another...& another....you get the picture. No, I did'nt make every one, though the misses, regardless of length, were all over the cup, including 30-35' lags. I use a SBST(pendulum, "brush") stroke, so as Dave Pelz would say, I had developed a "holding force" mechanism to compensate & effectively use the Scotty(3/4 toe hang). The Itsy Bitsy, being face balanced, is made for a SBST stroke, so manipulation of any kind is not needed! Being a high MOI(Moment of Inertia) putter, off center hits, both off the toe & heel, hold both their line & distance much better than any putter that I've ever tried or used. I should say that this is the 1st high MOI putter that I've ever putted with. The Itsy Bitsy weighs in @350gr. The two rear portals house two 4gr cartridges similar to the MWT used in the R series drivers, so the same wrench & weight kit(if you have it) work for this putter. Although the Itsy Bitsy looks larger than it is, it's weight is right in line with a 35" Scotty(330-340gr). Removing the catridges would drop the weight to 342gr. If you have the weight kit, you can vary the weight from 342-374gr, giving unbelievable flexibility depending on your stroke and/or green conditions. This putter would not be the best choice for an ARC putter, though most amateurs would putt MUCH better with a SBST stroke & a high MOI putter. That being said, I would definately put this putter @ the top of your short list. Pelz's studies showed that a player using a high MOI putter will make 10% more with the high MOI versus a "blade" style putter(this includes the anser type design). No other switches or improvements. Just going to a high MOI putter! You can do the math. For most amateurs, this means 5-6 less putts. Easy!! Believe me, it"s worth a try, and this putter or it's big brother(th original Monza Spider) is worth a look..... Aesthically, the more you make, the better it looks!!....Greens & Fairways 4ever.........

Randy Review

I'm a decent putter and have been using an Oddysey Tri-hot #3 blade for years. I love it, but the insert was pitting and the company said they couldn't replace the insert. While looking for my new putter, I tried all the big names thinking if it worked, it was worth the cost. Then I tried the Taylormade Itsy Bitsy spider. Even though it looked hugh at first, there was no denying the putter worked. The ball just wanted to go straight into the cup. It is very stable throughout my stroke and is slightly toe heavy which is good for me. During my last 4 rounds I've cut my putts by at least 3 putts per round.

I absolutely love this putter. Ever since I picked the Spider up along with my new putting arc at www.putting-arc.com, the greens have gone from my nemesis to the easiest part of my afternoons on the course. With the right putter and the right swing, I'm all set to make some legit runs for my company golf title next spring.
