Wilson Fg59 Forged Irons (10785 views/week)
The latest addition to a history-making portfolio of forged blades, the Fg59 Iron Set was inspired by the Wilson Staff Fg17 tour-proven forged irons, and named to commemorate the 59 major championships won with Wilson irons. In the six month period since the Fg59 was finalized, Wilson irons have earned the 60th and 61st major titles, making the Fg59 an instant collectible.
The Fg59 delivers classic head shapes modernized for today's competitive and skilled player, and features a wider sole and lower muscle to drop the center of gravity and improve ground interaction. Forged from mild carbon steel to produce a soft and responsive feel, the blades are designed with minimal offset to improve workability and trajectory control. This set — spanning #3-iron through pitching wedge — is equipped with stock Lamkin Crossline grips and tour-proven Dynamic Gold steel shafts that offer weighting and flex for penetrating golf flight and optimal control.
Features:
- Wider sole and lower muscle lowers the CG and improves ground interaction
- Minimal offset for trajectory control and workability
- Mild camber on the sole and sole relief flange minimizes digging on softer fairways
- Clubhead is forged from mild carbon steel for soft responsive feel

Great clubs, happen to come across a set for cheap $450cnd.
Tested out all the new blade and it came down to titleist 710mb.zm,zb,nike victory red and wilson fg59
narrowed it to the 710mb and wilson fg59
couldn't tell the difference and was striking the ball better and straighter with the fg not to mention farther. & iron 175 to 200 yards 3 iron up to 260 great feel great look.

Fits for me. Great workability and easy to hit. I own two sets of these clubs. Others are not SL. I prefer the SL shafts with 3 - 8 iron and not SL 9 and PW irons. Chipping and pitches are easier with heavier shafts because of better feel. full swing is easier with lighter shafts. Great feeling irons with great opportunities to lower your handicap. Nice clubs also from longer grass.

These irons are very impressive, yes you can say they intimidate.
This are great irons!
The heads are so small, the topline looks like a knife.
You have to have a lot of experiance to get them into the air but if you are a better player you will get a incomparable feedback.
The gloss chromed finish gets scratches and dings too easy for my opinion.
But resuming I would buy them again.
